'Heaven Help Us' is an AMAZING song, and I wanted to do an artwork based on it pretty much as soon as I heard it. It wasn't until about six months later that the right image came to me, though! I have to admit, I was a bit apprehensive about the idea right from the start, because it had been about two years since I'd done any gothic architecture (I had to do it in when I was 15 as part of my GCSE art course), and the first time in a long while since I'd used ink. I'll just say that when this was finished, my right hand looked like I should be the one who'd scrawled that on the door! But I'm glad I pulled it off. Especially the steps; they were SO HARD!
