For You, I'll Be Waiting

This is one of two special commissions that I’ve been asked to draw on behalf of Clic Sargent, a UK charity that provides help and support to children suffering from cancer. These pieces will both be raffled off, and all of the proceeds will be donated to this wonderful cause. You can find out more about Clic Sargent here: [link]
This drawing was inspired in particular by a song by ‘We Are The Fallen’. Listening to the lyrics, especially the chorus, I was reminded of the support that charities such as Click Sargent provide to so many people. In what would be the darkest moments, they are there, and they will stay for as long as they are needed and wanted, caring, helping to keep hope alive. And it was this feeling that I hope I captured here.
